In the dry winter months, and the humid summer months, I’m always battling with frizzy, static-y hair. Orofluido Asia combats exactly that – frizz control, elasticity, and smoothness is what you can expect from your Zen Beauty Ritual.

Orofluido Asian Zen Control Shampoo & Conditioner, $14 each
Zen Control Shampoo is a rich formula that combats frizz, has a creamy lather that rinses out easily, and smells like (what I think a rain-forest would smell like – ie AMAZEBALLS). It’s formulated with the smoothness of tsubaki (camellia) oil, the strength and flexibility of bamboo, and the nourishing properties of rice oil. Zen Control Shampoo contains Panthenol, an ingredient that promotes moisture retention which will nourish your hair, prevent breakage, and reduce split ends. It’s also enriched with Hydrolysed Corn Startch that conditions and reduces frizz.
Zen Control Conditioner will leave your hair soft and smooth. This conditioner is lightweight, also smells like a rain-forest, and will control frizz and enhance shine. This conditioner contains the same ingredients as the shampoo and smells just as amazing. After shampooing, comb Zen Control Conditioner through your hair from mid-length to ends, avoiding the roots. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly.
I have fine hair but I have a lot of it. Often, Zen Control Shampoo is enough for my hair to cooperate. If I use this duo together, I find my hair looks shiny but feels greasy. When I use one or the other, my hair looks shiny without the greasy feel and I still definitely notice a difference with my frizz and fly aways – my hair is sleeker. I use Zen Control Shampoo twice a week (because I only wash my hair twice a week) and when I use Zen Control Conditioner every other week, I make sure to use it with a different shampoo so my hair doesn’t get greasy.
If you have thick, coarse, dry, or even curly hair, I have no doubt that this duo would work wonders on your hair.
Zen Control Elixir, $29.95
This Elixir is a lightweight oil that instantly polishes your hair and creates an anti-humidity shield to control frizz. It contains a UV filter that protects against the damaging effects of the sun, and offers thermal protection. This can be used before or after styling. It’s a leave-in treatment.
I sometimes use Zen Control Elixir right after a shower if I’m blowdrying my hair, but if I’m airdrying my hair, I’ll apply it after I’ve styled it. A little goes a long way with Zen Control Elixir – gotta use this with caution ;)
This oil smells so incredible that I even like to apply a bit to my collarbones and arms. I freakin’ LOVE IT!

Zen Control Mask, $19
This rich cream provides your hair with intense conditioning. It contains wheat amino acid that repairs deep down, and a keratin protein that conditions the surface. Also made with the same ingredients as the Zen Control Shampoo & Conditioner.
For finer hair like mine, I recommend using this as a treatment once or twice a month. For thicker hair, you could probably use it more often. After shampooing, massage it into the ends of your hair, leave it on for a few minutes, and rinse thoroughly. I wouldn’t use the conditioner before this mask, just the shampoo.
TL;DR: Orofluido Asian Zen Beauty Ritual works and smells effing FANTASTIC. I notice a difference right away from how my hair airdries, to blowdries, to straightens and curls. My hair is smoother, sleeker, shinier. If you have fine hair, don’t use this products all at once but if you have thick, coarse, dry hair use the productions from the Zen Control line together for optimal results.
