Blog

Didn’t relate to the first two blogs of this series?
Maybe your eyes are prominent or perhaps, they’re small eyes. Read the description of each to see if they match your eyeshapes!

PROMINENT EYES

Description: If your eyes are prominent, you’ll know! Your eyes are the strongest feature on your face. Your eyes are very full and are considered “goldfish eyes”
Make-up Techniques: If you want to downplay your eyes & make them less “prominent” , apply a dark shadow all over your lid and into the crease. Darker eyeshadows will make your eyes appear smaller. Apply a highlighter to your brow bone and (a few more coats than normal of ) mascara to your upper lashes.
If you want your eyes to appear bigger, choose light colored eyeshadows. Apply eyeliner, for a more dramatic look but only on your upper lash line; if you apply liner to your lower lash line, you’ll make your eyes appear smaller.

 SMALL EYES
Description: Opposite of prominent (or “big”) eyes, we have small eyes. As their name suggests, small eyes are smaller in comparison to the rest of your face (usually proportionally smaller).
Make-up Technqiues: To enhance your small eyes, apply a light colored or shimmery shadow to your lid, a medium colored shadow to your crease, and a light colored liner to your top and bottom lash lines (if you apply a dark liner to your inner water lines, you’ll close off your eye & make it look smaller). You may also apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes to contrast the light liner. Also, curl your lashes to open up your eye.
