Blog

If your eyes aren’t almond or asian shaped, maybe you have hooded or droopy eyes. Read the description of each eye to see if this is your shape. If not, there will be more blogs for different shaped eyes coming soon! :)

HOODED EYES
These types eyes have such a sexy connotation to them…bedroom eyes..mmmm :P
Main Characteristics: If your eyelid is completely covered by your brow line, you have hooded eyes. The hood of your eyes doesn’t allow for a visible crease because it is deep under your brow bone.
Make-up Techniques: You need to make your eyes more prominent. To do that, apply a highlighter on your brow bone and on the inner corner of your eye. Use an eyeshadow slightly darker than the highlighter on your lid and a darker color to your covered crease (to give the illusion of a crease). Use a contouring shade on the outer corner of your eye, sweeping up. Apply an eyeliner close to your upper lash line. Avoid lining the bottom, they will make your eyes look smaller; the point is to make your eyes look bigger!! (you can line your lower water line with a neutral or white liner)

DROOPY EYES
Most mature eyes have this shape! Sorry readers! Apparently gravity does a number on our eyes as well :(
Main Characteristic: The outer corners of your eyes slope down.
Make-up Technqiues: Apply a liner in an oval shape on your upper lash line. You can use a liner on your lower line, too, but don’t extend it to the outer corner. Remember: we’re “lifting” the eyes, so when applying eyeshadow blend it up and out.

Hope this helps :)
