I like to compare eyes to the human body- there are so many variations of sizes! Small, round, droopy, hooded, big, wide-set, close-set…the list goes on!
Every woman (and man!) is so unique, in this sense.
Through out this blog, I am going to teach you how to work with your specific eye shape; so, if you don’t have Almond or Asian eyes- don’t worry, a blog specific to your eyes will be posted soon!
Don’t know what your eyes shape is? I’ll post characteristics of each eye shape, too!

ALMOND EYES

These types of eyes are very common and considered to be perfectally proportional.
Main Characteristic: The outer corner of the eye is upswept.
Make-up Techniques: To make your eyes look larger, line the outer area of your upper lash line.
If you’d like them to look rounder, line your upper lashes but don’t extend it all the way to the outer corner (line it about 3/4 of the way).
To increase the depth & intensity, put a bold sweep of eyeliner on the upperlid and neutral colors on your lower water line.
A smokey eye looks amazing on this shape!

ASIAN EYES
Main Characteristic:These eye shapes seem to have little to no crease, as well as tilt upward at the outer corners with a small lid.
Make-up Techniques: To create depth, use deep, dramatic shades of eyeshadow on the outer part of the lid and lighter colors on the inner part of the lid.
To add dimension, apply eyeliner as close to the lash base as you can get and a thin liner on the lower lash line.
Create a crease by using a sweeping motion (creating a round, U-shape) with a darker color, in between your brow-bone and eye-lid (where a crease will usually appears)
