I recently came across the In My Kit blog by KJ Bennett and I really wish I had discovered this blog when I was first starting out because shopping for a kit is a daunting task. It may seem like a lot of fun, it may seem exciting and while it can be, it’s a little overwhelming, time consuming, and can be very expensive.

I’ve started the What’s In My Kit? series (inspired by In My Kit) to really help an aspiring artist shop for her (or his) kit and for those who just want to expand their personal stash with quality products.

I’m going to start with short/quick reviews of Tools and Accessories because they are just as important as the products themselves.
Next we’ll go onto the Face, then the Eyes/Brows, then the Lips, and possibly a short Skincare bit.
