Urban Decay Eyeshadows
UD makes great, buttery smooth eyeshadows in a wide variety of colors. Be weary of the ones infused with glitter- there’s a lot of fall out! I have a few shadows + the Naked (1) palette. I grab for this the most on my bridal clients!

theBalm Meet Matt(e)
This is my go-to for nude, matte shadows. Each of these shadows are pretty pigmented. The only one lacking in pigment is the pink shadow (Matt Chung). I also should mention that these shadows are a little dusty.
Meet Matt(e) won’t crease for over 13 hrs, if used with a primer but if you’re skipping primer, it’ll only wear for about 3hrs before creasing.

MAC Eyeshadow & Pigments
Pigmented, have little fall out, minimal fading, and will wear a long time, if a primer is used.
MAC pigments are excellent, too! With a mixing medium, you could use any pigment wet or even as a lipstick.

BH Cosmetics 88 Palette
This palette of shadows are great for every beginner MUA. There’s quite a bit of fallout and not all the shadows have good pigmentation but this really is a good practice palette. And it’s less than $20. You can’t really go wrong!

Marcelle Eyeshadow Quads
I love, love, love these!  Not only are they reasonably priced at $15.95 each but they’re Canadian, too!
These quads are smooth, pigmented, and versatile. I think they’re perfect because in just one small pan you can create any look. Perfect for a condensed kit!

Glamour Doll Eyes
GDE has some of my favourite pigments. They’re vegan, most of them are lip safe, and are available in a wife variety of finishes and shades. Also noteworthy, these bad gals are only $6/each!
