Maybelline FitMe Concealer
If you’re building your kit on a budget, these are the undereye concealers I would use. They’re fluid and don’t cake/budge after setting with loose powder. Super natural looking. The downside is that they’re only availabe in 6 Caucasian shades.

NYX Concealer Jars
These are also great if you’re building your kit on a budget. The only downside is that they smell bad but if you scoop it out of the jar, onto a palette, your client won’t even notice! Also available in 3 correcting shades.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer
As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of cream concealers and this MAC concealer is no different. It’s opaque in coverage, so much so that you could cover tattoos with it, too! It’s available in 13 shades from neutral to cool to warm.

I have so many LW products but have never tried these, they are highly recommended. I have been interested in highlighting and contiuring but its intimidating as well. As a fair skinned person would I easily know which one to get? I thought they only had 2. I recently bought a little Quo kit with three screams for this purpose, not to $$ and thought it would simplify, seems the colours arent quite right?? maybe I just need assistance. I know it can be done fairly simply for a natural look but that it really makes a big difference without looking like a walking makeup kit. I have been thinking of buying a book for makeup info, suggestions? just got an ereader so this would be good as I never seem to have time to get to reading although I love to. Any suggestins on books would be appreciated

      Kathy,

There’s a “light” Lise Watier Concealer wheel that’ll work well for you. Of course, you still need to foundation or tinted moisturizer/BB cream on top. These wheels are just for correcting the skin of any imperfections but work well for contouring as well since there are contour & highlight shades in the wheel. These wheels are great because each corrector is labeled, telling you what to use it on. I definitely suggest this for you!

As for makeup books, look up Kevyn Aucoin and Sam Fine!
