MAC Powder Blush
Available in over 30 shades and in different finishes (shimmer, matte, etc). What’s great about MAC blushes is that as a Pro member, you can buy them in pan form which is not only cheaper but saves you from depotting yourself!
MAC Harmony is a great contour shade!

NARS Blush
Available in 28 pigmented shades that are buildable in color. There are matter and shimmer finishes. Of course, every kits must have is Orgasm! A little pricey at $29 but NARS offers a program, too.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12hr Blush
$26 and available in 16 shades ranging from matte to shimmer, soft to pigmented. These blushes are a makeup artist favourite, for sure. The formula is soft and long wearing. It also minimizes oil while reducing the appearance of dry skin.

Benefit Hoola
This is branded as a bronzer but I think it’s too matte for bronzing (I like my bronzer with a little shimmer!) but Hoola makes for a great contour!

Vasanti Brazilian Bronzer
A great contour for medium/tan/dark skin tone. Any tone less than medium and this bronzer will look a little muddy. This is buildable in color and can also be used to contour. It has very minimal shimmer to it.

MAC Naked Pigment

This makes for a beautiful highlight on most skin tones. It also makes for a very pretty eyeshadow.

Joe Fresh Cream Blush
For only $8, these cream blushes are pretty good! The only downside is that there are only 4 shades available. These are pigmented and blend really nicely. Definitely worth a look at for those who are just building their kits.

Elizabeth Arden Cermide Cream Blush
These are another cream blush favourite but again, only available in 4 shades and at a higher price tag of $24. They’re creamy and leave behind a pretty dewy finish.

Makeup Forever HD Blush
My all time favourite cream blush. These are available in 14 shades leaving a healthy, natural glow in it’s wake. These blushes are great for layering under powder blush or on it’s own. They blend so beautifully in the skin.

MAC Strobe Liquid
Ok this does have a hefty price tag at $31 USD but I just can’t help but use it every chance I get, especially in the winter to brighten up a dull complexion. You can layer this under foundation/mix it into your foundation for an all over glow or as an after thought, on top of your foundation on the high points of your face. Strobe Liquid is best applied with a foundation brush or with the pads of your (clean) fingers. Click to shop
