There was an article was floating around the Twittersphere last week and I really want to share it with you! Click here to read the full article.

ACNE ON YOUR FOREHEAD
Can be caused by a toxin build up related to poor digestion and dehydration. Drink at least  8 glasses of water a day to flush out these toxins and keep an eye on what you’re eating.

ACNE ON YOUR NOSE
Your nose is linked to your heart. An indication of high blood pressure is a swollen nose. Avoid energy drinks and high sodium foods.

ACNE BETWEEN YOUR EYES
This area is linked to your liver. To clear up redness and flakiness, avoid eating out, late at night, and reduce your fat intake.

ACNE ON YOUR UPPER CHEEKS
Any breakouts or broken capillaries are directly related to your lungs.  The air you’re breathing (polluted, smokey) will appear on this area of your face. These breakouts can also be caused by cellphones and pillow cases.

ACNE ON YOUR LOWER CHEEKS
Can be caused by poor dental hygiene. Any mouth infections can also be seen from the outside, in this area. Make sure to brush and floss twice a day and visit the dentist regularly.

ACNE ON YOUR EARS
Linked to your kidneys, the breakouts on your ears are usually under the skin, almost cystic. Up your water intake, lower your caffeine and sodium intake, to clear up this area .

ACNE ON THE SIDE OF YOUR CHIN
As a woman, this usually happens during that time of the month. The side of your chin is hormonal which is why you almost always break out here. It can also be caused by lack of sleep.

ACNE ON YOUR CHIN
Linked to the small intestine, breakouts on your chin is caused by poor diet/oily foods and/or food allergies. Keep a food diary to figure out what is causing your break outs.

ACNE ON YOUR NECK AND CHEST
If you break out here, you might be stressed. Try a stress relieving activity. Be weary of the clothes you’re wearing (are they clean?), and the perfume you’re wearing because this can cause breakouts in this area, too.

Love love love this! Unfortunately I’ve had an acne breakout recently and it makes sense that this is due to bad diet choices, your post has inspired me to sort out my diet so thank you!
