HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY BEAUTIES!
Did you know today happens to be one of my most favourite days of the year?
I’ll tell you why:
- I love green! Green means Spring!
Spring means Summer will be here soon!
- A day dedicated to public intoxication!
- A day when it’s OK to start drinking
at 11am when the bars are allowed
to start serving. - IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(NOTE: reason #4 is the main reason why I love St. Patricks Day. I really don’t care about #2 & #3, I’m not an alcoholic!)
Here is a VERY green look I created especially for this day! I apologize if you don’t find it wearable but I think it’s fun…and well, the occasion calls for it.
FACE
- Caryl Baker Visage Camouflage concealer in Medium
- Marcelle BB Cream, applied with my fingers
- MAC blush in Harmony for contour and blush, applied with Crown Brush Chisel Brush
EYES
- A light, yellow-based green to highlight brow bone/inner corner of eyes, applied with a fluffy brush
- Sleek Makeup eyeshadow in Apres Midori (vivid green) all over the lid, applied with a flat, stiff brush. Stay away from the crease in this step.
- A dark green applied at the outer V, and into the crease. Blend into crease, and up and slightly above the crease.
- Sleek Makeup eyeshadow in Espresso Martini (dark, black brown) applied to the outer V, only! Lightly blend into dark green.
- Apply Apres Midori (vivid green) to the lower lash line, about half way
- Apply Espresso Martini (dark, black brown) to the lower lash line to the outer corner, over Apres Midori
- Apply Sleek Makeup eyeshadow in Screwdriver (yellow) to the lower lash line inner corners
- NYX Candy Glitter Liner in #09 Green applied to the upper lash line, and winged out to the outer corner
- Urban Decay Super Curl mascara
LIPS
- MAC Honey Love, and/or
- KA’OIR Jamaica
And just for fun, here are a few St. Patricks Day looks I found and love!
