At the end of August (I can’t believe how long it took me to write this post. Sorry!), I attended The Body Shop Holiday Event where they debuted their Holiday Collection.
With my 3 year old Goddaughter in tow (because it was a kid-friendly event), I headed over to Woods Restaurant to participate in some holiday cheer. Kayla (my Goddaughter) loved it. She was shy at first but started opening up when she saw Santa, Frosty the Snowman, a gingerbread man, and a magician. We decorated gingerbread cookies, had her face painted, ate snow cones, she told Santa what she wanted for Christmas, hugged a gingerbread man, dressed up like an angel and had our photo snapped with Frosty the Snowman.
The Body Shop Makeup Artist Bahar Niramwalla was on site providing touchups for the adult guests but, of course, Kayla had to get in on the action so she had some lipgloss put on.
Woods Restaurant was a little cramped with the amount of guests that turned up, and although it was the weirdest thing celebrating Christmas in August, Kayla & I both enjoyed ourselves.
