I found this idea on Beauty Obsessed, and I thought I’d participate!
It’s actually my first TAG post, too. I wanted to do a video, but I’m still a little camera shy ;)

So the purpose of this TAG is to name one beauty product that corresponds with the colors of the rainbow.
The colors are:

• Red
• Orange
• Yellow
• Green
• Blue
• Indigo
• Violet

RED
This one is easy. My favourite red lipstick is Russian Red by MAC! It’s such a rich, deep red. Really beautiful.

ORANGE
The first product that comes to mind when I think of the color orange is another MAC lipstick, Morange. It’s this vibrant orange that is perfect for Spring and Summer. Even the earlier months of Autumn.

YELLOW
My favourite yellow eyeshadow is Sleek Makeup’s Screwdriver from the Caribbean Collection. Click HERE to see this eyeshadow swatched (and the rest of the review)

Green
Okay..in my defense, I have EVERY lipstick color under the sun. So for my green beauty product, I’m choosing KA’OIR Cosmetics lipstick in Jamaica. I wore it on St. Patricks Day (my birthday!) and I’ve used it in a photoshoot.

BLUE
This is another easy one. My favourite blue eyeliner is Annabelle Smudge Paint in Skyline. It works well as a blue based eye primer, too!

INDIGO
The beauty product that comes to mind when I see the color “Indigo” is from the Smashbox Masquerade palette from their Fall 2012 Collection. If you’re familiar with this palette, I’m referring to the dark blue eyeshadow in the last row, second eyeshadow in.

Violet
Eeek! Sorry…I have yet another lipstick in mind when I see (or think of) the color violet. MAC Up The Amp is a medium lavender shade with pink undertones. Perfect for our recent Spring weather.
OH! and MAC Ombre Blush in Vintage Grape which is a mid-tone violet, with pink accents. I really like the shade(s) of this blush BUT I find it very difficult to blend!
