Winter is not only harsh on your skin but it wreaks havoc on our hair, too. Our hair becomes dry and frizzy, worse if you already have damaged hair.

Infused with camellia oil, this collection of hair care protects the hair fibers against dryness and frizz, while providing intense nutrition that coats each strand and absorbs quickly without leaving your hair or scalp oily.

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Nourishing Protective Oil – $69CDN

Hefty price tag, I know, but this oil works wonders and you only really need to use a few pumps once a week. Use it as a leave-in treatment if you have super dry, frizzy hair, or as a pre-wash. When you use this oil, you don’t need to condition after. This completely detangles hair (brush it through for it to penetrate each strand), controls frizz (you could even use a touch of this as a finishing oil), leaves your hair soft and shiny without weighing it down or looking greasy.
If you have dry, damaged hair, this will be your HG oil!

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil Shampoo – $56CDN

Paraben and silicone-free, this lightweight shampoo will gently cleanse your hair while respecting the balance of your scalp. I don’t know exactly what that means but I find my hair can last longer between washes and is less greasy when I use this shampoo. This smells great and lathers nicely, too. My hair literally feels squeaky clean after rinsing it out. When it’s dry, my hair feels light and bouncy.

Shu Uemura Cleasing Oil Conditioner – $56CDN

As lovely as this conditioner is, if you have the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Nourishing Protective Oil, you don’t need to spend the extra money on this conditioner. It smells great and leaves my hair soft but I still love the oil so much more than the conditioner.

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Oil-in-Cream – $69 CDN

For total and complete frizz control, this leave-in treatment is for you. Apply to towel-dried hair and style however you like. Girls with curls, I really think this one is for you, too!
It’s lightweight and will keep your hair soft but frizz-free. You can use this has a styling product or as a finishing cream. A little goes a long way so use sparingly. If you use this as a finishing cream, be sure to apply it from under your hair and not directly onto your scalp.
