REVIEW: Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder

Cost: $38 CDN
Available at: Sephora

MY 2 CENTS
Picked this up from the last Urban Decay Haute Look sale and it has quickly become a staple in my professional makeup kit.

We’ve had some crazy, hot, humid, sticky weather here in Toronto and this has saved countless brides/bridesmaids from looking like an oily mess.

De-Slick Mattifying Powder is a pressed, translucent powder. It works for all skin tones but if you’re not careful and use a light hand, it can make a dark complexion look ashy.

Brush to pan, UD De-Slick Mattifying Powder kicks up a lot of powder and gets quite messy. Careful not to cover your clients’ clothes in white powder.

You should have no problem blending this pressed powder into the skin as the formula is really soft. UD De-Slick Mattifying Powder really keeps any oil and shine at bay.

Have you tried this Mattifying Powder? I would love to read your thoughts!

  1. This is my “cheat” when my foundation is a little too dark or I want to tone down an over-done blush. This is on clearance on the UD website for $16, BTW. Think it may be discontinued, or maybe they’re just changing the product packaging???
