I was a little nervous to try out the Tresemme Reverse Wash System and it took me a few washes to love it, truth be told.

Basically, you’re supposed to do a pre-wash condition – that’s Step One. This conditioner is made to soften your hair. It’s formulated with Fleximax Volumizers and Fibre Polishing Actives to prep your hair for voluminous bounce before washing. It protects the hair during washing and leaves it smooth and polished.

Step Two is the Tresemme Beauty-Full Shampoo. Shampooing after conditioning is supposed to wash the weight away. The Fleximax Volumizers in the shampoo help control static, infusing your hair with volume, leaving it prepped for styling.

So the first time I tried the Tresemme Reverse Wash System, I conditioned, then shampoo’d but my hair felt so knotty that I ended up conditioning again, after washing. I thought “okay. This is stupid and I don’t like the way my hair feels”
The second time, I pre-conditioned, then washed, then let my hair airdry and it just felt limp. Again, I thought to myself “I really don’t like this system”
Third times a charm. I just came out of the shower and found a way that this Tresemme Reverse Wash System works for me. I pre-condition – leaving it in for a few minutes, comb it through, rinse it out, then shampoo but wash my roots only. My hair is currently smooth, weightless, and as it’s airdrying, my hair isn’t frizzing like it normally does. I think it’s got good volume, too. It doesn’t look as limp as it normally does and has a bit of extra bounce to it :)

So, in short, after two failed attempts and one success, I’ve decided that I actually like the way the Tresemme Reverse Wash System works!
