THE DOWNLOW
I won this  Double Straight Flat Iron by Rowenta Beauty off of BeautyCrazed.ca. After a few miscommunications (that were dealt with very professionally and in a timely manner by Beauty Crazed, PR reps, and Rowenta), I finally have a new straightener to cherish and enjoy! (note: I received the product in July!)

The flat iron is enclosed in a sleek, enticing package with a magnetic closing. It is quite large and difficult to store. As pretty as  it is, I tossed it out.
The flat iron also came with a heat resistant storing/travelling pouch, that I kept!

Using the flat iron is easy!
Plug it in, slide the button into the ON position, choose your temperature(between 250°F to 450°F), and it’s ready to use in less than 30 seconds!
The built in comb heats up with the plates, smooths (and combs out) hair.
When you’re done, simply slide the button into the OFF position, unplug it, and store it in the heat-resistant pouch

I hardly ever comb my hair because it gets static-y and frizzy. With the Double Straight Flat Iron, I find that if I flip the straightener so that it combs my hair from the underside, my hair is less frizzy than if I were to comb it from the outside. I still need to use a finishing cream to smooth out frizz and fly-aways.
My only qualm with the Double Straight Flat Iron is this comb. I wish it was removable.

Having a good flat iron can change your life. :-) I love my Sultra “Seductress”. I won mine, too – I’d never spend $200 (US) on a flat iron!

I agree! I had a Bellezza flat iron that I bought at Winners for $40 lol
It worked exactly like my CHI and looked the same!

I also had one (about the same price range) that I got at a discount store. It worked better than some, but started to turn itself off randomly. Annoying!

My CHI one did the same!

I loved my Bellezza but unfortunately, I broke the ceramic plates (it hit the floor one too many times!) :(

It’s really not, though. I haven’t experienced any pain or tugging. I just don’t like to comb my hair which is why I would have liked it removable lol

I purchased a CHI last week an returned it because it did not work well on my thick hair. After researching other brands I decided to spend the extra money on a Rowanta Double Straight. Yes, it is more expensive but WOW, what a difference!!!!! I have never had such a good straightening iron and the comb feature is awesome. I highly recommend this product and feel that the extra money spent is well worth it.
