MY 2 CENTS
There’s no doubt in my mind that this self tanner is pricey! Maybe because I did not pay full retail value for it- but I think it’s worth every penny. I got this product from my eBeauty Spring Tote with Bonus purchase.
The directions say to apply the self tanner for 7-14 days OR until you reach your desired tan. To maintain the tan, you should repeat as necessary. I had a gorgeous, bronze tan (minus looking orange) by Day 3.
What I love about this self tanner is that it’s safe to apply to the face, just avoid your eyes. Not all self tanners are safe for faces.
Other benefits include:
- the product is not sticky
- it’s not streaky or patchy
- it’s not oily
- it dries quickly so it doesn’t stain your clothes
- the tan is gradual and looks natural
- the tanner firms while nourishing the skin
- the pump applicator keeps things neat
I have two small complaints about this product:
- There is a slight, subtle odor that smells beachy like a lake beach, not an ocean beach. It is tolerable, though
- This self tanner is pricey for only 4oz for product. While you’re building your tan, you’ll go through half the bottle quickly. The last half lasts because you won’t need to apply it as regularly during your maintenance stage.
To get the full benefits of this self tanner (and every other self tanner on the market), you’ll want to exfoliate before application.
I also like to use gloves to apply the self tanner that way my hands don’t become splotchy.
If I had the extra cash and wanted to splurge a little, I would definitely repurchase Perricone MD’s No Sun Tanner
