MY 2 CENTS
We all know how I loathe the Garnier BB Cream, right!? Well… Olay Fresh Effects “BB Cream”/Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer (side note: how can it be BOTH!?) comes to a close second in the loathing department.
Olay Fresh Effects Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer (let’s face it: this is NOT a BB Cream) is completely sheer. Granted, it evens out the skin but provides zero coverage.

It absorbs into the skin pretty good, and is moisturizing, but it never actually dries so my face feels pretty moist all day. Unless I set it with a powder, no makeup that I layer on top of it will last – I’m talking 4 hours or less. But what if I don’t want a powder finish? (read: I don’t want a powder finish)
I tried Olay Fresh Effects “BB Cream” with the hopes of it actually being a BB Cream. I think that’s why I was so disappointed in it. The one thing I do like is the scent – it smells like candy! Yum!
In short, Olay needs to drop BB Cream from this name and call it like it is – a tinted moisturizer. It’s not fair to market both!
Ladies, if you wear little-to-no makeup, I think that Olay Fresh Effects Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer is a good fit for you but if you dislike fragrance or need more coverage, you’ll need to skip right over this one.
Have you tried this? I want to know if you love or hate it! Leave a comment below :)
