NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer adds a sheer hint of color to your skin, to even out your tone for a more smooth and soft look. The primer is super silky and slides right onto the skin for a very easy application.

NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer is available in 3 shades: light (yellow undertones), medium beige (warm yellow undertones), and warm (deep with slight red undertones)
The shade I have my beauty junkie hands on is medium beige. See below:

The two above photos were taken on my cellphone. As you can see, when NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer is blended, it kind of blurs out the skin and mattifies it a bit to get rid of any shine.

The formula is lightweight and the texture is soft, and feels like silicone (this is a silicone primer). This primer works get filling in pores but it has zero oil control. If I’m using NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer on it’s own, my face feels pretty oily, as if it doesn’t dry or set.

NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer can be worn alone or under foundation. I actually like to mix it with my moisturizer and set it with the NYX #NoFIlter finishing powder.

Overall, NYX Soft Focus Tinted Primer is a decent primer but if you have oily skin, save your $14 for an oil-controlling primer.
