REVIEW: Nars Matte Multiple in Altai

Cost: $46 CDN/$39 USD
Available at: Sephora online, select Sephora stores, narscosmetics.com

MY 2 CENTS
When I first came across the Nars Matte Multiples, I just knew I had to have Altai – for me, it’s the perfect contouring shade but I can also use it as a blush and/or bronzer, under my foundation or on top. I love that there’s different ways to wear it to get my desired effect.

Nars Matte Multiples are available in 6 pigmented shades.

Altai is described as a rose bronze but leans a little orange. The finish is matte but it has a slight sheen to it. The formula is smooth, velvety, and blends easily. Nars Matte Multiples doesn’t dry quickly, so you’ve got time to play around.

I mostly use it under foundation, in the hollow of my cheeks, for a contour or I wear it over liquid foundation, on the tops of my cheeks, forehead, and nose as a bronzer. It blends easily with fingers but when I’m using Altai as a bronzer, I use a stippling brush.

What do you think about the (semi) new Matte Multiples?
