MY 2 CENTS
I bought this palette on a whim because my Orgasm blush is old and I’ve hit the pan along most of it. Basically, I wanted another Orgasm (ha!) so I thought I’d invest in NARS Foreplay to get more bang for my buck.

Upon first impression, the smaller was a lot smaller than expected. The total size of the palette 0.36 oz. Orgasm being the biggest shade (but still not full-size of 0.16 oz).

Orgasm is a peachy shade with gold shimmer. It’s very versatile and works well on most skin tones.

NARS Orgasm

The gold highlight is stunning and blends very nicely into the other 3 shades in the palette. The texture is very smooth and not chunky, like some glitter can be.

The other two shades don’t have actually names, so I’m going to call them matte peach and matte pink. Please note that I find both matte shades a little more difficult to blend than the others in this palette but it’s nothing that my Beauty Blender and MAC Prep + Prime translucent powder can’t handle.

Matte peach is a very similar color to Orgasm but is deeper and without the gold shimmer.

NARS Matte Peach

Matte pink looks more like a matte magenta shade to me and is actually quite intimidating. A light hand is needed when applying this color and should be built up to the desired intensity.

NARS Matte Pink

Each individual NARS Blush is $32CDN. For an extra $17, you get an extra 3 shades (even if they’re not full-size) for a total of 0.20 oz extra. That’s about half the price of a full size blush.

If these shades are complimenting for your skin, and Orgasm definitely will be, then this palette is great to have because it’s sleek and easy to pack, which means it great for the on-the-go chick and traveler babe!

Thanks for your review! I have been eyeing this for some time but $49 is a little steep for me at the moment. I do need a new NARS blush. There’s a couple of shades I like but you are right, this palette seems like it’s worth it. I don’t know though…I’ve got to try it out first before committing.
