NARS describes this product as a “translucent finish… that leaves the skin moisturized”. Well no, it leaves the skin oily.

I find that this is a buildable coverage, like NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. This kind of reminds me of a tinted moisturizer because it’s pretty sheer and translucent on the skin with minimal coverage. The more layers you add, the more coverage you get but it is still fairly sheer.
I like to use translucent powder to set this foundation because it leaves my face feeling wet, kind of sticky, and with a glow that I’m not a fan of.

I don’t really like this foundation. It’s way too greasy. I do like the fact that you can control the kind of coverage you want. If you want a light coverage, apply one or two coats, if you want heavier then just apply a couple of more.
Unfortunately, it irritates my skin (I have normal/combo skin) so I can’t use it.

If you have oily skin, this product is not for you. This foundation works best on normal to dry skin. To find out what your skin type is click HERE.

Balanced Foundation has been discontinued (thank goodness lol!) so it’s only available for purchase online but save your money- there are better products out there.
