MY 2 CENTS
I’m sitting here trying to find nice things to say about Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder. The formula is soft, and the finish is really nice but…. that’s about it…
Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder is difficult to blend into the skin. You need to work with it quickly otherwise it starts looking patchy but once it’s on, like I mentioned earlier, the finish is nice, light, smooth, and non-powdery.
I’m also finding that it doesn’t blend well with my concealer.
The other issue with the Dream Wonder Powder is that it oxidizes on the skin. I mean like completely turns orange. The shade I received is an exact match to my skin but after a few minutes, it gets darker, and more orange. A few times I didn’t even notice until I was at work – how embarrassing!
Dream Wonder Powder isn’t long lasting either. After a few hours, I notice it disappearing from my skin and even leaving me a little oily.
Needless to say, Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder is a complete miss in my books.
If you still want to try it, buy a few shades lighter than your skintone so when it oxidizes it should (hopefully) match.
Am I the only one hating this powder? Leave me a comment with your thoughts!
