MY 2 CENTS
I got to see how Fresh Face Masks were made at a Lush event on Toronto, late last year. You wouldn’t believe how wholesome the ingredients that goes into these masks are. For example, in the Cranberry Festive Face Mask (pictured above), there are cranberries, organic silken tofu, fennel seeds, argan oil, patchouli oil, lemongrass oil, and sandalwood oil. Isn’t that amazing? I saw exactly what went into it and I can safely say that was it!
Each Fresh Face Mask are made with fresh fruits, vegetables, butters, clays, and essential oils.
Lush Fresh Face Masks are made on a weekly basis and can only be purchased in store. These need to be kept in the fridge in order to stay fresh. And really, I love how cold it feels on my skin after a long day!
Apply a thick layer of Lush Fresh Face Mask over your skin, avoiding the eyes, and leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes. I usually do 10 minutes and as the mask dries, it gets slightly stiff on the skin but is very easy to wash off with warm water. Massage it into the skin before rinsing it off for an even deeper cleanse.
There are 12 Fresh Face Masks to choose from. Some vegan, but all not-test on animals.
- Rosy Cheeks – made to calm the skin
- Don’t Look At Me – scrub, soften, and brighten the skin
- BB Seaweed – soothes the skin
- Cupcake – soften, tone, and cleanse your skin
- Catastrophe Cosmetic – calm and soothe your skin
- Brazened Honey – stimulate the skin
- Love Lettuce – for softer, brighter, balanced skin

- Oatflix – hydrate, exfoliate, and soften the skin
- Ayesha – for perky, lifted skin
