MY 2 CENTS
It took me a little while to get used to L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation. I didn’t love it right off the bat.

I like to apply my foundation with a damp Beauty Blender but because this is “Lumi”, it makes my skin look extremely dewy. Not that I mind dewy, but this was leaning towards oily. My skin is not oily.

Through a bit of trial and error, I learned that:

  • if I want to use my Beauty Blender then I’m going to need to set it with a powder afterwards.
  • if I apply Lumi with clean fingers, it tones down the “dew” and looks more natural and I don’t need to set with a powder.
  • setting with a powder does help Lumi’s staying power and keeps oil under control

L’Oreal True Match Lumi foundation has a wide variety of shades, 15 to be exact, ranging from warm to cool, but you may have an issue finding your shade if you’re quite fair. I am a W6- Sun Beige
If you have oily skin, I would recommend staying away from Lumi as it may make you greasy due to luminosity.

It has a medium coverage, blends easily, makes your skin look brighter, and lasts me a full work day (about 7-8hrs before getting slightly patchy)

Have you tried L’Oreal Lumi? What are your thoughts?
