Today I had a “make-over” by a Lise Watier artist at a Shoppers Drug Mart in town so I got to test out the full Bora Bora collection. I didn’t get to snap pictures of swatches but I’ll explain each product to you and show you the finished look.
EYES
the Lise Watier rep used the 5 palette on my eyes & I’m pretty sure she used like every color! lol
She used pearl white as a highlight on my brow bone, golden sand in the middle of my lid, jungle green on my inner corner, violet on my outer corner (and as eyeliner on my upper lash line) and green papaya in the crease.
Each color has the exact same finish. I think maybe they should have thrown a matte color in there, but that’s just my opinion! The palette is still gorgeous and the eyeshadow’s are pretty pigmented.
On my lashes, she used the 24hr Glam Mascara. Hello, length!
I swatched the Shadow & Glitter duo but unfortunately didn’t get any pictures (sorry!). The “cream” shadow actually leaves a powder finish. It’s easy to blend and the color pay off is great!
I’m really not a glitter person but in this case, the glitter intensified the cream shadow. I like the combo!
LIPS
I obviously love the lip crayons so these one’s don’t disappoint! They are so creamy and glide on like a charm!
For this look, Mango Punch (Limited Edition) was used. My lips are really pigmented (naturally red) so the Mango Punch lip crayon went on kind of pink-y. If it were me, I would have blanked out the clients lip to get more color pay-off but in this case, the artist didn’t.
Pink Jelly (no swatches) is a really sweet, pink color. It’s very light and kind of sheer. Actually, the color of Mango Punch (see above) on my lips looks like Pink Jelly when I tested it on my hand.
I really love both colors but would definitely suggest neutralize your lips if they are naturally pigmented.
My lips are fairly “plump” so I didn’t really notice a difference with the Rouge Plumpissimo lipsticks but I can tell you that they are not your average lip plumper- there is no awkward stinging or burning sensation. It’s a very mild prickle, I guess I would call it lol
FRAGRANCE
The Bora Bora fragrance is my absolute favourite. I had to have it. It smells so delicious and sweet with a hint of floral.
The perfume is a Limited Edition and it’s only $50. BUY IT!!!
FINAL LOOK
Here is the full look the artist created using the Bora Bora collection.
I think it turned out pretty! What do you think? Are you going to buy anything from this collection? Leave me a comment :)
