MY 2 CENTS:
I bought the Herstyler Grande Curler from the flea market at The CNE. Royal Beauty had a booth and sold me the curler for $79.99 + hst
This curling wand is super easy to use, heats up quickly, and comes with a glove that way you don’t burn yourself (like I did my first time using it).
I would suggest using the glove because the rubber handle tends to heat up at the base of the wand.
Give yourself loose curls by taking thicker chunks of hair and wrapping it around the wand loosely.
If you want tight curls, take thinner pieces and wrap it around the wand loosely.
My loose waves lasted about 2 days without hairspray, while my tighter curls lasted about half a day (without hairspray) before turning into loose waves.
Here is my model Steffi Kafato. She has pin straight hair and these are how her beautiful curls turned out!

Thanks! :)

I don’t have this wand, but I have a different one that I LOVE. It holds my curl all day without hairspray, something a regular iron never did. I agree; definitely wear the glove!!
