MY 2 CENTS
I rarely use shaving creams, for two reasons: 1) I normally wax, and 2) soap and water works fine for me, so when I tried EOS 24-Hour Moisturizing Shave Cream it wasn’t what I expected at all – but in a good way!
First I’m going to start with the packaging and the way product is dispensed – through a pump!
I love the grooves for your fingers, making it easy to grip. The plastic bottle is soft, rust-free, and recyclable.
The pump is my favourite part. 100% propellent-free, meaning no chemicals.
The product itself is literally a cream (you’d think I would have figured that out by the name!?). That was the surprising part – it doesn’t foam like other shaving creams/gels – it was kind of confusing at first but I like it!
EOS 24-Hour Moisturizing Shave Cream is extremely hydrating. My skin is left so smooth and soft, even after rinsing and drying off. Even up until the next day, I don’t feel the need to moisturize.
I’ve tried using the Shave Cream both wet and dry, and although it works either way, I prefer to use it wet. I have no real reason for this other than, when I do shave, it’s in the shower.
EOS 24-Hour Moisturizing Shave Cream is paraben-free and made with Aloe, Oat extracts, Shea Butter, and Vitamins C and E.
It’s available in 3 fragrances:
- Pomegranate Raspberry
- Vanilla Bliss
- Sensitive – Fragrance Free (hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested)*
Like the EOS Everyday Hand Lotions I reviewed yesterday, 24-Hour Moisturizing Shaving Cream is not test on animals, nor does it contain any animal by-products.
Do you use shave creams/gels when shaving or are you a soap & water kind of gal like me?
