i love masques. More importantly, I love facial masques that are easy to remove and don’t stain my skin.
Enter – Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque

The masque contains activated Biochotan Charcoal which absorbs the impurities in our skin, and the Sulphur brightens our skin. Volcanic Ash, Sea Silt, Bamboo Extract, and alpha hydroxy acids further the brighten with dual-action exfoliation. Niacinamide reduces congestion and calms the skin while Chilean Wild Mint refines the pores.

I use Dermalogica Charcoal rescue Masque at least once a week. I absolutely love it (truth be told, I love anything with Volcanic Ash).
I apply the masque on cleansed skin. I like to use a thick layer. I leave it on for 10 minutes. After a few minutes, the masque is fully dried, making your face feel too tight to move (don’t worry! It’s a good thing).
The exfoliating comes into play when you rinse the masque off. With very wet hands, I massage the masque into my skin, enhancing the exfoliating properties. Once I’m satisfied with the exfoliant, I rinse it off with warm water. It’s so easy to remove, and doesn’t burn or tingle on the skin.
My skin feels quite tight after use, but feels so smooth and my skin just drinks up my moisturizer so nicely. It looks bright and clean.

Overall, I feel like Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque would work well for those with dry, normal, oily or combination skin. If you have sensitive, acne-prone skin, I don’t recommend for you.
