This is a new collection released for Summer 2013 and after seeing Rebecca Likes Nails swatches of Sunsational, I had to get my hands on a couple.  Sunsational includes creme polishes and jellies. I picked up two cremes- Highlight of my Summer and Sun of a Peach (lol at this name!)

Sadly, the formulas aren`t very good for opaque creme polishes but with a little work, they`re totally manageable.

china glaze highlight of my summer

Highlight of My Summer. 2nd day of wear, slight chipping.

Highlight of my Summer is a mint green, almost neon that has a semi-matte finish. I prefer a totally matte neon so I used Revlon Matte Top Coat to achieve that.
This formula is especially terrible. It`s so streaky and if you`re not careful, kind of clumps up as you apply your layers. I use two coats and leaves me with a less than perfect finish but have you ever tried drying 3+ coats? It takes forever! Not interested in wasting that much time.
Highlight of my Summer started chipping on the 2nd day of wear. This is normal for China Glaze polish.

Sun of a Peach: picture taken before clean up.. oops! ;)

Sun of a Peach is a neon peach with the same semi-matte finish. Sun of a Peach has a better formula than Highlight of My Summer. It’s still quite streaky but it doesn’t clump with each stroke or layer. Again, 3 coats is necessary to achieve full opacity. Sun of a Peach has the same wear time as Highlight of my Summer

These are both such awesome colors but very high maintenance. These would definitely wear better on the toes!
