Bel Mondo Beauty Bio Cellulose Facial Masks are another type of sheet mask, similar to Maskeraide but very different.
Bio Cellulose masks are ecofriendly and do not contain any petrochemicals. Fun fact: bio cellulose is used as artificial skin for burn treatments.

These masks are my first experience with Bio Cellulose and I’m pleasantly surprised. Bel Mondo Beauty facial masks feel like a second skin. It’s really hard to explain but the sheet feels almost like a gel- it’s smooth and moist yet doesn’t feel wet, even though it’s infused with a serum.

Application is easy. The mask is folded in half once, with a protective sheet on either side of the mask.
The instructions say to remove the transparent layer first, apply it to the skin, and then remove the outer white layer but I prefer to remove both and gently lay it on my face, starting at the forehead and working my way down to the chin. The mask is cut out at the eyes (though you’ll have to fold the flaps over), the nose, and the mouth.
Leave the mask on for 20 minutes and gently peel it off for smooth, hydrated skin.

There is quite a bit of liquid serum over in the package that you could use on your skin. The serum is a little too watery for my liking.

Bel Mondo Beauty 100% Bio Cellulose Facial Masks are suitable for all skin types but would really benefit dry skin because of it’s hydrating properties. Also, there is no discernible scent to them.
These masks are said to:

• soothe and refresh,
• hydrate, plump, and strengthen,
• smooth fine lines,
• and create a moisture barrier

After each use, my skin feels smooth, moisturized, and I find that redness is reduced.
