MY 2 CENTS
Like I tell all my clients, loofahs are gross! They sit in your shower, collecting mold and dead skin, and we rarely throw them out. They’re just a breeding ground for bacteria and they really don’t even scrub all that well. So, of course, I’m always up for trying new body scrubs.
So far, I’ve realized I don’t like those little microbeads in my scrubs, they really don’t do anything for me. I’m a fan of sugar scrubs but now that I’ve tried Arbonne Aromaessentials Awaken Sea Salt Scrubs, I might be converted to sea salt scrubs.
Arbonne Aromassentials Awaken Sea Salt Scrub is a blend of lemon, for vitality, and coriander, for happiness. I love citrus so it absolutely smells divine.
It contains safflower seed oil to help protect and replenish the skin’s moisture barrier, avocado oil to moisturize and soften, and vitamin E to condition the skin and improve radiance.
Arbonne Aromassentials Awaken Sea Salt Scrub is actually rough on the skin but I love it. It’s not rough enough to cut you or anything but you definitely feel it exfoliating your body.
Here’s my trick: I use it on dry skin! Hop into the tub, and before turning on the tap or shower head, scoop the product into your hand and get to scrubbing.
Because of the oils, it’s easy to scrub onto dry skin. Use water to rinse it off, obvi!
As you rinse the scrub off your body, you’ll notice that it doesn’t soap up, but it does leave a smooth film on your body, even after you towel off.
You can still moisturize but I didn’t feel the need to. My body feels smooth, moisturized and energized after using Arbonne Arommassentials Sea Salt Scrub.
If you don’t like scrubs to leave a film of moisturizing on your skin. then save your $40, BUT if you love a clean smell, smooth skin, moisturized barrier on your skin, then you should definitely try the Arbonne Aromassentials Awaken Sea Salt Scrub.
