Almay Smart Shade CC Concealer + Brightener is a colour correcting duo “to help skin look flawless with a natural glow”.

The orangey-beige toned corrector is used to concealer redness and other discolorations on the skin while the pink-toned brightener is used for brightening the under eye area and even highlighting your cheekbones or inner corner of the eye.

I’ve read a few negative reviews about Almay Smart Shade CC Concealer + Brightener and although it’s not the best drugstore concealer out there, when used correctly, it’s decent!
I think the problem is people think they can use this product on it’s own and in that case, it fails. This Concealer + Brightener duo are color correctors. Use it to even out your skin tone, and conceal those bluish under eye circles, then use your foundation and concealer on top (or concealer then foundation, whichever method you prefer), and set with a powder. It does tend to fade so if you’re not setting it, don’t expect it to last all day.

The formula is thick and creamy. Don’t use a lot of it. Blend and dab with your fingers to get your desired results.
