Hello again!
So last week, I met a woman named Arvin. She told me about a cosmetic sale she was having this week and it was actually HER makeup. How cool is that!?
Naturally, I went to check it out and I am so impressed with her line.
I ended up buying a lipstick, a blush, and a matte black eyeshadow:
Rather than names, her products are numbered. The mineral blush is #12 (but we like to refer to it as salmon), the matte black mineral eyeshadow is #055, and the lipstick is #710
The lipstick is so pretty! It feels comfortable on the lips, it’s pigmented with a satin like finish, and it was only $10. It doesn’t have that waxy feel, like some drugstore lipsticks do. After 3hrs (and eating and drinking), the color is still on my lips, still slightly moist, and hasn’t set into my fine lines.
I was on the hunt for the perfect matte black eyeshadow when I came across this one. These eyeshadows have almost like a buttery-type feel and they’re not chalky. It’s pigmented and easy to blend. For $10, you get 0.05oz/1.5g. That’s the same size as MAC eyeshadows, for less money, and similar quality!
All the pictures were taken with my cellphone but this is the only color that got washed out (you can see the actual color in the first picture in this post). It looks very dull but #12 is actually a peachy-orange. Think NARS Orgasm, without the gold flecks. REDS blushes are super pigmented, and blend effortlessly. You could even use your fingers! (see below)

i’ve seen stuff like this online. although i don’t doubt it’s a great product, i believe it’s certainly pre-packaged products from overseas (e.g. china) and relabelled in north america, with such a label as ‘reds’. many examples of this online, but kudos for this entrepreneur to do what many others are doing.

Hi Rachel!
I’m not sure where this product is made or packaged, actually.
The quality of the product is what is expected from indie brands but Arvin (creator of REDS) is always trying to improve :)
Upon trying REDS, I was quite impressed with the quality of her products- they are not bad at all!
A big kudos to Arvin!
Thanks for reading.
