We all have that cheap lipstick that we bought because we loved the color or maybe it’s an expensive lipstick but the formula is just terrible. Hey, it happens!
There’s a way we can fix this and it’s really quite simple: add a layer of hydrating lip balm before you apply the drying lipstick.
I’ve been doing this lately under every lipstick. I’m using Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Clear before I apply any lipstick.
I find that it’s helping with keeping my slightly dry lips hydrated. My lips look perfectly moist all day.

I need to try this. I have a couple of matte lipsticks that totally dry my lips.
Matte lipsticks do the same to me but this trick really helps!
