My Silk Tie is a silky, gleaming silver
Romantically Involved is a deep, creme red
Embrace the Gray is a creme grey
I had one of my girlfriends test out the 3 shades I was sent. In the photos below, she used a Seche Vite base coat, and a Revlon top coat. She used two coats of polish for full coverage. She said they went on smooth and evenly without streaking and dried quickly. She was able to use her hands within 20 minutes of applying the final coat. Overall, she loved the quality of the polishes, especially Romantically Involved.
I haven’t tried any of the 50 Shades of Grey collection myself but judging from her pictures, the formula of My Silk Tie looks a little thin while the cream formula of Romantically Involved and Embrace the Gray looks like really good quality.
I really like grey nail polishes. It suits my hands nicely!
Have you got your nails on the OPI 50 Shades of Grey Collection? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the other 3 shades!
