CONCEALER BRUSH
MAC 195
Cost: $22.50 USD
This is a flat, stiff brush great for concealing under the eyes. It has a little precision point at the end that is great for getting into the corner of the eye without getting your concealer everywhere. This brush is also great on other delicate areas, like the corners of your mouth. It also covers blemishes pretty well, too. If you find that it is leaving streaks behind, you probably need to wash it!

FOUNDATION BRUSH
MAC 190
Cost: $32.00 USD
My favorite foundation brush of all time! It provides a beautiful, streak-free face with every stroke of the brush. This brush does not absorb the product like a sponge would (saving you a ton of money in product!) Again, if this brush is leaving streaks behind- WASH IT!

POWDER BRUSH
MAC 150
Cost: $42.00 USD
A very thick, dense powder brush that works amazing on both loose or pressed powder. It can also be used for blush application but I prefer it for powder. It doesn’t leave bristles behind on your face and it lightly applies the powder- unlike some brushes that leave your face looking cakey.  It doesn’t lose it’s full, round shape after cleaning, either!!!

BRONZER BRUSH
MAC 187
Cost: $42.00 USD
I love this brush because it has multiple functions (oh, and it’s veryyy soft). I use it to apply bronzer because of it’s lightweight application; BUT, this brush can also be used blending face powders, and liquid or cream foundations. Just stipple the brush & blend!  It’s worth every penny, I promise :)

BLUSH/CONTOUR BRUSH
MAC 168
Cost: $32.00 USD
Another brush with dual functions! Personally, I love the way this brush applies blush because of the way it is angled. The brush is also soft & stiff enough to contour your cheeks! I find it leaves behind some harsh lines but can be easily blended out with a stiff, flat-headed brush (ie. Pur Minerals Chisel Brush)

LIP BRUSH
MAC 316
Cost: $19.50 USD
This brush is ideal for applying lipstick because of the flat, firm bristles but can also be used for applying eyeliner! It’s pointed end is great for getting into the thin corners of your mouth.

BLENDING BRUSH
MAC 217
Cost: $ 22.50
Great for every day eyeshadow application; It blends your shadows beautifully because of it’s fine bristles. I find the brush a little to thick to use in the crease of your eye but it’s great for blending shadows on your eyelids.

MAC 222
Cost: $29.00 USD
This is another “blending” brush that is soft & round and tapers into a tip. I like to use it for applying shadow in the crease of your eye and the outer V. If finances allow you to only purchase 1 brush, let this be the blending brush you buy.

PIGMENT BRUSH
MAC 239
Cost: $24.50
This is my favorite brush to pack on the pigments! It has firm, smooth bristles that is great for bringing on the intensity because it picks up so much color! This brush applies the eyeshadow exactly where you want it.

EYELINER BRUSH
MAC 263
Cost: $20.00 USD
I love using this brush to apply shadow on the upper & lower lids as eyeliner. It’s a flat brush with an angled tip perfect for shading in your eyebrows, too!

MAC 210
Cost: $17.50 USD
A eyeliner brush that is thin and stiff to create a fine, precise line. Great for gel & cream eyeliners.
