I’m so extremely late to the party, seeing as the MAC & Miley Cyrus Viva Glam collection is out, but I just picked up Rihanna’s a couple of weeks ago!
I’ve been playing with it for a couple of weeks, wearing it alone and pairing it with different lip liners. I just had to share my findings with you. If you have Rihanna Viva Glam II, try out these lipstick + lip liner combination. If you don’t have it, run out to MAC – a few places still have it in stock.
This is MAC + Rihanna Viva Glam II worn alone:
Not exactly my favourite way to wear it because it’s too sheer. So I tried pairing it with different shades of liner, completely filling in my lips. Here are my findings:
Pairing MAC + Rihanna VIva Glam II with a hot pink lip liner will have this lipstick leaning Magenta/Fuchsia-ish. So pretty!
If you want something a little more vampy, pair MAC + Rihanna Viva Glam II with a deep plum lip liner.
If you’re looking for something a little less dramatic and a little more classic, pair it with a bright red lip liner.
And to keep the lips neutral, pair Viva Glam II with a nude lip liner.
My least favourite way to wear this lipstick, but you could totally pair it with a taupe liner. In this case I used an eyebrow pencil which was too drying. I think that’s why I don’t like this combo very much!
If you want a really bold, dramatic, fearless look, pair Viva Glam II with a black eyeliner. It gets patchy so you’ll have to reapply often.
Last but not least, and my most favourite way to wear MAC + Rihanna Viva Glam II, combine it with a deep brown lip liner. Not only do I love the way it looks on me, but I think the combination could be beautiful on any skin tone!
