I was contacted about a month ago asking if I’d like to try Irresistible Me clip-in hair extensions. Never having used clip-in extensions before, I jumped at the chance.

I got to choose my color and length, thus I went with 24″ glorious inches of Royal Remy extensions in color Royal Rosewood, a retail value of $319. See below for the stock photo:

My hair wasn’t quite the Royal Rosewood color so I had my hair dyed to match. It’s really the perfect shade for Fall, anyway!

Let’s talk about the hair first:

Royal Remy is Irresistible Me’s premium line of clip-in extensions. They use top of the line hair and a special treatment to add extra silkiness and durability. The hair is quite thick from top to bottom, providing a lot of body and bounce.
You can straighten, curl, style, cut, wash and even color Royal Remy hair with ease. These are 100% Human Indian Remy Hair.

Depending on the set you choose (100g, 140g, or 200g), you’ll get 1pc 4 clip extensions, 3 clip extensions, 2 clip extensions, and 1 clip extensions. I have the 200g – 1 pc 4 clip, 2pc 3 clip, 5pc 2 clip, and 2pc 1 clip.

These extensions are FUN!

They’re super long and actually pretty heavy but that’s to be expected. I have about 3 extensions in the photo above. The large weft of 4 clips and 2 pieces of the 3 clips. These were straight out of the box!

In this photo, I’m wearing the large 4 clip weft, 1pc 3 clips, and 2pc of the 1 clips. I straightened the hair with minimal shedding and then braided it. I love how loose and messy it was.

To ensure the extensions couldn’t fall out/be pulled put, I teased and hair sprayed the root of my hair in each section I was going to add the clips.

I haven’t worn them much since I’ve been in the middle of a move + a little travelling but I totally loved them the couple times I have worn them. I’m excited for the next occasion that I can wear them but first, I need to get my hair dyed again as it faded ;)
