Completely un-beauty related but I had to share this awesome experience with you!

Last year, my boyfriend turned the  Dirty-30 but unfortunately, there were some deaths in the family around his birthday so we didn’t celebrate.
On Wednesday, he turned 31. I invited over a few close family and friends for dinner, drinks, and cake!

My boyfriend has to be the most difficult person to shop for…EVER. What are you supposed to buy a man that has everything? The answer is: nothing, just get creative.

Like any other girlfriend would do, I bought him a cologne (Bvlgari Aqva) but that’s not all! I started Googling bakers (or as I like to call them- Cake Boss’s lol) in the GTA. I stumbled upon Helens Cakez.  I emailed her my idea, she emailed me back with a very reasonable quote and the rest is history!

Here is the cake I ordered my boyfriend:

The story behind the cake is simple: My boyfriend has a Honda s2000, it’s his project car. I can’t tell you how much time, effort, and money he’s put into this car over the years. So this cake is modeled after his car exactly.

Helen did a great job on the cake. We’re so pleased! It looked so amazing, I felt bad cutting into it but inevitably, we had to!

Helen is based out of Brampton but also delivers! If you’re looking for an amazing baker (who also makes cupcakes and cake pops), I definitely recommend Helen’s services!
