How We’ve Safely Reopened In the Midst of a Pandemic – Stage 3 Guidelines for Your Next Appointment
Lashes & Lipstick Beauty Bar reopened, as per stage 2 guidelines, on June 19th. I wanted to share a little bit about what we are doing to keep you safe, as well as what we will do to ensure safety as we enter stage 3 and are allowed to perform brows, lashes, and facials.
You are sent a prescreening wellness form prior to your appointment. Please fill this out before you come in for your service.
First and foremost, to enter our beauty bar you must be wearing a mask. No exceptions. No mask, no service. We reserve the right to refuse service should you not wear a mask and you will be charged 100% of your service.
If you forget your mask, we have disposable masks available for purchase.
Next, we take your temperature with a touches thermometer and check for signs of illness. If your temperature is above 37.8°C and you are displaying any signs of illness, we will cancel your appointment and you will be charged 100% of your service. We ask that if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, like nausea, diarrhea, chills, muscle pains, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, and rashes, to please stay home.
Once you are in the beauty bar, we will direct you to the bathroom to wash your hands with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds. You will be given a bin for your belongings.
Our staff will always be wearing a mask for the duration of your service, and in the cases of lashes, brows, or facials, as per stage 3, we will also be wearing a shield and/or goggles.
Hand sanitizer is readily accessible throughout the beauty bar and every surface you come in contact with will be disinfected with a hospital grade cleaner and disinfectant. This includes the bathroom, faucets, soap dispensers, door handles and knobs, wax tables or lash recliners, bins, the front desk, merchant terminal, pens, handheld mirrors, etc.
As always, we diligently disinfect, and wash our hands, between each and every client.
To better serve you, and to control the traffic in our beauty bar, we are working by appointment only. This means no walk-ins. If you are looking for a same day appointment, please call us before coming. That being said, we ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time.
Please come to your appointments alone – no guests, including but not limited to, your significant other, your children, parent, etc. A parent will be allowed in if they are accompanying a minor (under 16) for their service.
We’ve also added gaps in-between appointments so that you are less likely to overlap with other clients that are seeing your service professional.
We are trying our best to control the traffic in and out of our beauty bar so that you will only come in contact with your service professional and/or our receptionist.
This is an incredibly trying time for all of us and we are trying our best to do our part, to stay open, to keep you and your loved ones safe, and to keep us and our loved ones safe.
We thank you for your continued support and understanding, and look forward to servicing you at your next appointment.
