This is just a tiny haul of lipsticks from recently released MAC Collections for 2012.
We’ll just call these lipsticks “additions”
First up is MAC Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick. It’s a beautiful yellow-toned pink, satin lipstick that leans toward the coral side. I find the formula a little drying but it brightens up my face so much, I can’t resist wearing it!
Next is a Lip Glass from the MAC Chenman Collection. I’m in love with Lavender colors this year, so I bought Budding Love which is a pale, milky lavender.
Initially, I wasn’t going to buy anything from the MAC Marcel Wanders Collection. Nothing really impressed me until I came across this lipstick. It was a little hard to capture the true color of Felicienne but I did my best! Felicienne is a mauve with a sliver, metallic, frost finish lipstick. It’s REALLY frosty. So much so, that I have to pat it out with my finger because it has such a high frost finish.
The packaging is appealing and lightweight, but bulky. And (get this), there is 0.15 oz of product rather than the usual 0.10 oz.
And lastly, I won this Kissable Lip Color in Enchantee from the MAC SHOP Collection off of The Office Chic. Enchantee is a blue-toned, pale pink. The first time I wore it (alone), it burned my lips a bit. I find that it doesn’t burn if I wear it over lipstick.
MAC releases so many collections each year that I find it a little difficult to keep up with, financially.
In 2011, MAC released over 40 collections.
Is anyone else overwhelmed with the amount of collections MAC releases every year?
Do you try to purchase a little something from each collection?
