A little while ago ELF was on Haute Look. ELF is difficult to get in Canada, so I took advantage of this sale.
As much as I love shopping Haute Look, shipping is extremely expensive and it’s not quick at all. It usually takes up to a month after you make a purchase to receive your products.
If you know of anywhere I can buy ELF in the GTA, then please leave me a comment or shoot me an email!
Thanks beauties!
Here is what I bought:
The 24K eyeshadow palette. These eyeshadows are exactly what you would expect out of ELF. The brighter and neutral colors are decently pigmented and have a nice color payoff while the darker colors (especially the few with chunks of glitter) are terribly pigmented and have almost no color pay off what-so-ever.
I’m still pleased I got this palette because most of the eyeshadows are good even if they are slight chalky. You’ll see the select few that are pretty bad in the swatches.
Ehhh these eyeliners aren’t the greatest but I would say they’re bad. The white pencil isn’t as good as the rest of them. It doesn’t show up on my waterline at all. The good news is that these eyeliners don’t crumble which is what a lot of drugstore brand eyeliners do. They also come with their own sharper which is great because it break in the sharpener I normally use.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but these aren’t ELF lip glosses. I included them in this haul because they are almost always under ELF on Haute Look. I can’t find anything about these on the ELF website. If anything, they might have been Limited Edition but I can’t tell you for sure.
These lip glosses are okay. They don’t have an odor and are slightly pigmented. Not the greatest lip glosses and I wouldn’t repurchase them.
