I was contacted back in September about the launch of Silk’n Silhouette and I can’t lie, I was intrigued.
I’ve battled cellulite on my thighs for as long as I can remember. No matte how skinny, fit, or athletic I become, I can never get rid of this damn cellulite. I’ve tried creams like Vichy Cellu Destock (reviewed here) and Nip + Fab Cellulite Fix, and although these products blurred the issue, my cellulite was never really gone. So needless to say, I jumped at the chance to try Silk’n Silhouette at home treatment.

Silk’n Silhouette works at stimulating collagen production to reduce the appearance of cellulite and aging skin. It can be used on any area of the body but I focus on my thighs. You’re supposed to use it twice a week for 10 weeks. There are time specifications you should follow depending on the area of the body and the level you’re using the device at. I use it on Level 3 (High) for 15 minutes on each thigh. I admit, it’s difficult to do but I’m trying to at least use it in this manner once a week.

The device fits right into the palm of your hand, making it easy to grip.

The HT (Home Tightening) Technology merges three potent energy sources: Bi-Polar RF Energy, LED Light Energy (lights up red upon application to skin), and IR Heat Energy (I find that it warms up in the slightest. It never feels uncomfortable or hot). This combo ensures tighter curves, firmer skin, and the appearance of cellulite is reduced.

The device also comes with a Sliding Gel:

You’ll need this to glide the device over your skin effortlessly. Squirt some on to the face of the device and get to work. You’ll need to reapply it a few times for the longer times, as it dries out and starts tugging the skin.

Thus far, I enjoy using the device. It’s easy, though I wish it was quicker. My arm gets a little tired when I’m using it for 15 mins on each thigh. Haha!
Because I haven’t been diligent with use, I haven’t noticed a huge difference but sometimes, when I’m in shorts and walking by my full length mirror, I don’t notice it right away. I’d post pictures but it’s just a little embarrassing! :P

Please tell me I’m not the only one that fights the cellulite battle. How do you combat yours?

Definitely not the only one! I’ve been very slender my whole life yet I’ve always had cellulite. My butt and thighs especially. Hopefully this helps you! I’d love to try something like this, the creams never do much.

    Great post :)
