I hope you beauties have had a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year.
How did you celebrate NYE ’12?
These are the products for December that have kept me from the winter blues!
(side note: the weather here in Toronto has been incredible. For most of December, we didn’t get much snow, and anything that did fall melted away fairly quickly)
L’Oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
This is most definitely my favourite liquid eyeliner. The felt tip isn’t flimsy and it’s perfect for creating a cat eye or wing. I have a lot of control when using this liner. You can create thin or thick lines, easily. It doesn’t burn my eyes like most liquid liners and it does not smudge, at all!
I can’t remember how much is costs but it is relatively inexpensive.
MAC Ombre Blush in Vintage Grape
(Daphne Guinness for MAC collection)
This is such an interesting blush and can be worn in multiple ways! It fades from a light pink/purple to a darker purple. You can strictly use the lighter, or the darker blush (depending on your skin tone). You can swirl your brush around the pan and pick up all the pretty colors. Or, you can use it almost like a contour powder. Swipe your brush along the center so it picks up both light and dark then, apply it to your cheeks (darker blush near your contour line, lighter blush along your cheek bones)
mark Gloss Gorgeous Stay-On Lip Stain in Pop
I love this! It applies wet, like a gloss, and dries like a stain. The packaging is pen-like, and with just a few clicks, the gloss begins to ooze out (in moderation). The formula isn’t sticky and when it dries, your lips still feel moist. I would definitely repurchase for only $10 CDN.
China Glaze in Wintery Berry
(Let It Snow collection)
The perfect holiday red. It’s a deep red, but I feel like it has some purple undertones. This is my Russian Red of nail polishes.
