If you’ve been following me on IG (@siciliannabeauty), you know that I spent the last few days in Bahamas, which is why the blog has been so quiet!
I was only gone for 4 days, so I didn’t pack much. Usually while I’m away, I don’t like to wear makeup because my face gets tanned and I don’t need it. So to keep my carry on light, I only brought with me what I knew I was going to use. In no particular order:
- *Clarins Instant Light Complexion Base in Champagne. I’m so glad I brought this with me. The first day I got so much sun on my face, even with SPF 30, my face was bright red. This toned the red right down and I was able to go out in public lol
- Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Beige Suede. I used this to set the complexion base. It also helped with toning down the redness.
- *Annabelle Matte Buggy Bronzer. Loving this new bronzer from Annabelle. I dust it all over my face to add some color.
- MAC Legendary Blush. This one is from the Marilyn Monroe collection a couple of years ago. I just grabbed any blush but I’m glad this was it. The peachy tone really compliments my tan.
- Makeup Forever Aqua Brow #25. Because you always need waterproof brows on vacation.
- *Marcelle Dip Pen & Wjcon Long Lasting Eyeliner, both in black. Black eyeliner is a must for me. Both liquid and pencil
- *Maybelline The Nudes Palette. Perfect for creating a neutral day look or smoky night look. I used this the one night I went to the club.
- *Sephora Lip Artist Palette. This gave me 4 lipglosses and 4 lipsticks to choose from!
- Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant Mascara. I should’ve chosen a waterproof mascara but my lashes love this.
- Waxon Body Shot. This body oil is available exclusively at my work, Waxon Waxbar. Applying this every day, keeps my skin from getting dried out by the sun, and from peeling.
- *Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Bamboo Fragrance & *Hollywood Royal by Juicy Couture. One day fragrance, and one night fragrance. I got compliments on both. Tester size, of course!
