Waving goodbye to Summer has to be the hardest thing I do every year.
It starts getting dark earlier, it’s chillier at night time, even the sun just isn’t as hot anymore.
I tend to get into a rut around this time of year as my body is trying to adjust to the cooler temperatures. You’d think I’d be used it by now, living in Canada for my whole life and all….

Let me get onto the August Favourites before I start weeping… :(

I’ve rediscovered my Lise Watier Portfolio Professional Corrector
I didn’t realize how blue my under-eye circles are until I went to the MAC Pro Store and the artist used an orange color corrector to hide the blueness. Instead of buying said color corrector, I remembered I had this Portfolio and have been using it ever since. It makes such a difference!
I also used the darker shades in this Portfolio to contour

I exfoliate once a week with MAC Volcanic Ash. I LOVE the way this stuff feels on my skin. It’s black, like tar, with a sweet smell and taste due to the sugar crystals. As you’re exfoliating, the crystals dissolve and the product starts foaming up. I should have bought back ups because it’s sold out!

I cannot stop raving about this Japonesque Brow Palette.
I use all 3 shades on my brows!
The darker shade on the right is used to define my arch, the medium-brown inthe middle is used to fill in the brows, and the wax I use to set the powder.
Perfect eyebrows every time!!
