Eyebrows frame your face. Maybe it’s because I’m in the industry but most of the time, it’s the first thing I notice on a person (next is their teeth!)
Questions and concerns about permanent makeup are coming in at an all time high.
Permanent and Semi-Permanent Brows are taking the world by storm. Microblading, Ombre, Powder, and most of the women you know have probably already dabbled into permanent makeup, myself included. If you’re not ready for the commitment, that’s totally okay! Here’s a few different options for you:
Brow Products
you can fill your brows in with pencil, gel, powder, or even brow mascara. If you don’t know how to fill in your brows, your nearest makeup counter will teach you!
When filling in my brows, I like to use a light hand and really focus the brow product on the centre of my brows to the tails for that ombre effect.
Here’s a quick video on how I fill in my brows using a BrowEnvy pencil:
Eyebrow Tint
a brow tint is a vegetable dye used to enhance, shape and define your brows. It colours your brows for up to 2 weeks, giving you the appearance of thicker, darker brows. Each session is 10-15 minutes. We mix a tint about 2 shades darker (this varies from person to person), apply it along the shape of your brow and it’s hairs, and the tint is left on for 5-10 minutes. This is a great option for all skin tones, types, and hair textures.
Brow Lamination
this a fairly new trend in the beauty industry and works similar to a lash lift. Essentially, Brow Lamination realigns the brow hairs that way coarse, unruly brows are easier to manager. This results in a bushier brow that you just fluff up every morning with a mascara spoolie and brow balm. Brow Lamination lasts up to 8 weeks and includes shaping, lamination, tint, and aftercare product. This is a great option for those who have more brow than they know to do with, or those with sparse but medium thickness brow hair. Unfortunately, this isn’t for you if your have thin or see-through type brow hairs.
