If you’re not from Canada, and you’re unaware of what the Junos are, I’ll tell you!
The Juno Award is presented annually to Canadian music artists and Canadian bands to acknowledge their artistic achievements in all aspects of music. Winners are chosen by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). General categories are determined by sales and genre-specific categories are determined by panel.
This year the Junos were held in Canada’s capital: Ottawa. Hosted by William Shatner at the Scotiabank Place.

I’m going to admit something dirty, and quite disgraceful to Canadians: I have no idea who some of these women are…AND…I didn’t watch the award show, either…but here goes nothing!
(also, I had quite a difficult time finding pictures from the Red Carpet)

Shamefully (kind of) admitting I’ve never heard of this Country artist before last nights Junos. That being said, WTF is she wearing?

Oh! Oh! I know who this is. Mia Martina sings Latin Love. She’s got really nice, thick hair. And killer shoes.

You’re probably thinking what I’m thinking…WHO!? Well this is the President of CARAS and I spot sequence under faux (I hope) coat. It wasn’t that cold in Ottawa, she could have left the gloves at home.

Upon research, I found out that Lindi Ortega is the singer behind Little Red Boots and conveniently enough, she’s wearing Little Red Boots.  I just love everything about this outfit.

If I didn’t love Lights enough already, I love her even more now. She’s so cute. Her ensemble is subtle but oh-so-sexy! Plus, she has awesome teeth.

This Scotian looks like she’s heading to Prom. Eek.

Member of Broken Social Scene (Indie Rock band). I love the dress but the belt is a no-go. I wish she would have went with a bold(er) lip.

Hey LOOK! It’s Manny from Degrassi. She looks great. I love the leather and the smokey eye. She looks so edgy.

This Brand New Chick has wicked arms but terrible hair. The shade of the dress is complementing to her skin but whyyy must she wear that neon green wrap around her hand?

This shade of purple (magenta??)  looks great with her killer tan. I love her lip color but the eyeliner on her lower lash line is too dark and not smudged correctly.

Kiss It Bye Bye has to be one of my favourite radio hits right now! That being said, Aleesia looked very boob-a-licious last night. I’m not sure how I feel about the dress but me likey her pumps and mani.

I want a Romper that looks just like this one. The pattern is hot, the shade of blue is hot and I loved that she paid gold jewelry rather than silver. Ps. This Shut Up and Dance singers’ makeup is flawless!
